Children's Sunday School

During Sunday school, children from ages three through high school are taught age-appropriate, biblically-based material.

Our Pre-K through 6th grade classes use Great Commission Publications curriculum. The lessons are designed to nurture children as they grow in their knowledge of God and equip them to further God's kingdom.

Our junior high and high school class covers a number of subjects including the Westminster Shorter Catechism, apologetics, and Reformed theology.

Nursery

We have a nursery for babies and toddlers from birth through 2 years old. Upon arrival, your child will be assigned a number and you will be given a card with your number on it. Should the nursery volunteers need you to return to the nursery, your number will come up on the digital screens in our sanctuary and fellowship hall. The nursery is staffed with volunteers during the worship service. While we do not have volunteers working during the Sunday school hour, you and your child are welcome to make use of the room.

Nursing Mothers: There is a private nursing room off of the nursery. Feel free to utilize this room at any time.  You can watch the service from the tinted window and hear the audio as well.

Children in Worship

We believe our children should be with us in worship because they are members of the covenant community. As members, it is important that they join us in worshiping God together, hearing the preaching of the Word, witnessing their parents worship, and seeing the right use of the sacraments. Our church is used to the noise and rustling that comes with having children in the worship service, so do not feel uneasy if your child is a bit restless. We have a TV set up in our fellowship hall that displays the worship service. This is a good place to sit with your child if they are more restless than usual. Over time, your child will learn the rhythms of worship and will quickly learn how to join in with the prayers, the hymns, and the teaching.
